We are so excited to be able to share our farm with guests and offer an incredible place to stay. One of the reasons we bought this property was for the potential of turning the "guest house" into something remarkable. We didn't realize how much work was needed initially and our time frame of 2 months has moved to 1 year. That's quite a difference considering we thought we'd already have guests staying with us but we are doing things ourselves and really making it stout, the house is going to be amazing. It has been one heck of a project that Anthony has been working non stop on and I can't wait to see it completed. We just finished the siding and paint, new windows and doors and we're moving on to the fun stuff; picking out cabinets, counters, flooring, lighting fixtures, etc. Here's before and during pictures of the outside and we'll be sure to share the interior as that starts to come together.
The view off the back deck is stunning. We sit out and watch so much wildlife right in front of us between all the hawks, owls, and coyotes roaming around.
While we've been working so hard on the guest house, our main house still sits without flooring, a roof that is falling in, and a kitchen that is in desperate need of repairs. One day, it's all going to be completed and we can't wait. We spend so much time outside anyway that we barely notice the house. Sort of. Ok, I notice.
